The Rainbow Bridge -   Edna Clyne-Rekhy 1959

Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge.

​

When a beloved pet dies, they cross over to this beautiful meadow where there are lush green fields and warm sunshine. There, our friends run and play together. They have everything they could ever need—plenty of food, water, and the companionship of other animals.

​

Those who were sick, old, or injured are restored to full health and vitality. They are whole and happy once again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by.

​

They are only missing one thing—the special someone they loved and left behind.

But the day comes when you, too, will cross the Rainbow Bridge. In a moment filled with joy, you will be reunited. You and your beloved pet will cling together, never to be parted again.

Then, together, you will cross the Rainbow Bridge.
