"Too many practices are focusing 100% on what they call 'production'. In a 'production' driven practice, there isn't sufficient time to listen to the client, answer their questions, thoroughly evaluate the pet and come up with the appropriate medical recommendations. There is nothing wrong with making sure a veterinary hospital runs smoothly and efficiently; however in today's veterinary industry owners are spending more money for less quality time with their veterinarian."
